This course is a survey of the history of psychology including philosophical influences, schools of thought, biographies of prominent psychologists, methodological techniques, and important studies. The primary objective is for you to understand the history of psychology and how it relates to the field as it exists today. Ideally, the course will be a synthesizing experience, such that you have a more holistic view of psychology upon completion of the course.
